I have a sn45g shuttle fitted with a barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ without adding more voltage, i have just fitted an S3 noiseblocker fan from ultim8pc and my temps are now alot higher.My current idle temp as i type this is 57c according to mbm5.
whats an S3 noiseblocker????
maybe overclock less? or get a better cooler...?
its a fan from ultim8pc's website.
I have the S3 in my shuttle, running @ 3200 speeds you prolly need the S4 , also are you running it with the shim?
I removed that and my system now runs slightly cooler
i have got the shim on yes, i will look at removing it then and also reseating the ice cooler just to make sure, it is idling at 54c now.
