Biostar 330P won't boot up

Hi,

After my graphics card finally turned up today, I went ahead to set up my new 330P.

I powered it up only to get the message

Verifying DMI Pool Data........
System boot failure, Insert System disk and press ENTER

I have inserted the Windows XP (OEM) disk to no avail. I even tried a 2nd DVD-ROM drive to see if that fixed it.

Any suggestions?

Forgot to add that my DVD drive is not being detected at start up. I have checked the connections. Is there anything else I should check?

My sound silly but all your IDE devices in the BIOS are set to Auto are they not?

Also, worth checking for any nicks in the cable and that your drive is on master plugged into secondry IDE port on the Biostar (well lets just say optical on secondry master IDE is a long standing tradition that is very wise to keep in the SFF world).

I had checked that the DVD Drive was set to master but I also tried slave and Cable as well. However, when I connected up another IDE Cable it worked, so I installed Windows and then when I tried the original Biostar cable it worked. Weird!
