Help setting up MX 518 buttons for games

    hey lads.

I have a MX518, ive installed the software, but for most games, when i select the side buttons they don't assign. For example in COD i want to use the 2 side keys for sprint and prone, how do i do this?

Call of Duty would not actually use the buttons as standard anyway. You have to go into the software and create a profile for the games. It should ask for the gama exe location and then in the list you set the side keys to generic keeyboard buttons. For example set Enter for use in a game, go into mouse software select the profile of the game you just created and then set the side button to mimic enter, rinse and repeat That should do the trick for you.

    Ok
go to mouse properties. Click modify button 3 i think it is(for the side button/s) Then click drop down until u find keystroke>select it>then asign what button on ur keyboard u want it to act as. For example mine is set to scroll lock. So when i press it, it think its scroll lock and the light turns on

Yeah, sortedf it, heh much better cheers guys.

Erm yeah the mouse is nice. I went from a Intellimouse V3 so not a huge upgrade.

You can quikjcly change the dpi from 1600 to as low as you want, there are 2 buttons that send it higher or lower.

It's a nice mouse, komplett i got mine from, cheapest i found 32quid.
