Is the heatsink for your 3700+?
Ordered one of these yesterday, should be here todayI went for the YS-Tech 120mm 38mm fan. 125cfm, 45 more than the panaflo and only 5db more.

you realise 'just 5 dba more' means its over twice as loud?
Never knew that no, but then I'm not bothered by noise as I already have 3 120mm fans in my case along 1 92mm and 3 80mm's. So it's pretty noisy anywho

okay cool, the decibel scale is logarithmic which apparently means that every 3dba higher up the scale is double the loudness (I think).
Of course the problem is that one 20dba fan can sound alot louder than another 20dba fan.
im really finding that to be true lately. goes up and down tho as my acoustifan is supposed to be 26db but is really very nice and quiet. others go the other way which is never pleasing.
