RAM prices?
I need to order some RAM to keep as stock for our workshop. We don't get through *that* much - probably about 20-25 512MB DDRs a month on average. Rather than me ordering 10 at a time every week or so, I was thinking of ordering a larger amount in.
Does anybody have any idea at all what DDR prices are going to be doing? It seems unpredictable to me, but I was wondering if there were some financially eagle-eyed people that were able to work out what was going to happen :)
In other words, should I stick to ordering 10, or ordering 50 and saving proportionally on the postage?

You can save a little on Ebuyer if you buy in bulk.
Best bet is if your going to order 50+ units at a time ring up your e-tailer and see if they will cut you a deal.

Hmmm... might just stick to ordering 10 at a time then :-)

I'm actually really amazed at RAM prices currently (in particular, DDR). I read somewhere that RAM was going to come down and it did, but by a collasal amount. So predictions of the price rising again could be correct.

Hang on, I'm a bit daft. If RAM is rising, I'm best ordering loads in :-/
Duh.

Yep. If RAM prices are going anywhere they're going upwards, although I doubt they'll recover to anywhere near the levels they were at six months ago.

DDR Ram is at an all time low atm. I might just invest in some quick stuff for when I go to AMD64.
