I think its the same, p120 is the product range iirc. Nothing to do with the size

When i searched for the 200gb model a few months back i couldn't find it and only got to it because someone posted a link on this forum. I'm surprised they are not more popular
P120 could possibly mean 120gb per platter? Ive no idea what platter sizes are upto now...
Ebuyer and ocuk are the only shops I remember that sell samsungs, both not doing above 160gb..
Anyone know why theres not more shops with samsung drives..?

Got my spinpoint 160GB IDE a few months back for about the same price as that 200GB
the seagate drives seem to have overall better performance and are quieter though :)
I bought the equivalent 200GB seagate drive and i can tell you it is not quieter, quiet disappointed really. All this time i've been hearing people rate seagate above samsung for noise.
And speed doesn't really matter to me in my situation as these are just external data drives
I find that hard to believe being the owner of both samsung and seagates, the samsungs are defo quiter then the seagate.Quote:
