it has onboard sound, i thinks its 7.1

you should be able to put your audigy in there, as the an8 has 2 pci slots in addition to the newer pci-e slots

I was under the impression that the onboard sound on today mobo's isn't as good as the old nforce 2 boards, that used Soundstorm. They were basically on par with An Audigy.
