Ram Upgrade
Hi, i'm upgrading my ram soon but i don't know what to go for  Do i either go for.............
2x512MB OCZ Technology EL DDR PC-3200 Gold Edition Dual Channel.....
2x512MB OCZ Platinum EL Dual Channel Kit PC-3200 2.2.2.5... ect ect ect
OR do i go for............
2x1GB Corsair (VS1GB400C3) 1024MB, DDR400 CL3 (Value select).......
2x1GB OCZ (Value ram) 1024MB, PC-3200 CL3.
So really the question is, do i go for 2x512 high performance ram (2.2.2.5)
OR
2x1GB Value Ram (low timings 3.3.3.8/10)
The main use is gaming.........
HL2.....Farcry.....BF2......UT ect ect
I would like to get the performance ram but i dont know if it will feed the resource hungry BF2. Please help :)
My CPU is .... AMD 64 3200+ (Venice)
Motherboard is .... Abit Fata1ilty AN8 SLi

I generally go for the cheaper decent quality RAM (Corsair Value Select, Crucial). I don't think the tighter timings are worth the price premium.

They are all generally the same price tho, so which will be better for gaming? (BF2) 1gb fast stuff or 2gb value ram both PC-3200.
Thanks.

2Gb definatly, though don't expect it to o/c much.

thanx m8, i will go with the 2gb then. I will probably keep it at stock speeds, being 2gb pc-3200 should be pretty fast anyway.
Thanx for your replys :)
