I think he is just jelous that my "shoebox" pc is faster than his hulking great tower lol (Joke)
Well then he's disagreeing with someone else because I never said that. Arguing with me about a position I do not hold is very intelligent, right?Originally Posted by Kez
If you read what I actually said then maybe we can talk. If you refuse to read my post then bash away at the strawman if you wish.
Storm actually has both and both have their uses.

Got any money to go with that mouth JR? (double joke!)Originally Posted by Platinum
My SFF handles an FX-57 just fine, but then mine has air flowing through the case, a feat that is not easily accomplished on a Shuttle if we are to believe your thread is anything other than flame-bait.
Maybe if you took the shoes out of your box it would help.

I could take quotes from the bible out of context to suggest that your sister sleeps with goats, but that doesn't mean she does, right?Originally Posted by KeZZeR
Quoting out of context is silly.
Also, do you not know the meaning of the term "highest powered" as opposed to saying "high powered"? Why don't you quote what I actually said and offer a different opinion instead of attacking something that doesn't exist?

Turned to comedy to try and lighten the mood due to your mistake? It's ok, you're forgiven
Any way just to stick my oar in
I have a san diego 3700+ in my new SN25P () and with it at 2.7GHz (9*300) 1.55v its running at 48c under load with fans at around 55% for the 60mm cpu and 50% for the 70mm.
Thats better temps than my old rig (DFI-NF4, TR XP120 and Akasa Eclipse!)

Nicely done! Seems you've got an uber system there
Exellent, you've made my point perfectly. My 3700+ San Diego runs 2830MHz 24/7 and will bench much higher even with a Venus 12 (ok but not the best).Originally Posted by Firelord
I never said a shuttle can't be fast, just not as fast as a tower.
He just stated that his Shuttle has better temps that his main rig at high speeds. Doesn't that mean he's making his Shuttle just as fast as a desktop with lower temps which in turn, means that he's going against what you said?Originally Posted by StormPC
max on my DFI was 2750 (275*10) but only becuase of the extra memory dividers.
If I got some decent memory for clocking.
This is actually slightly faster due to the fact the onboard sound is slightly quicker better for gaming FPS.
Great little system for its size. Compare to original shuttles and they have come a long way

I agree.Originally Posted by Firelord
Why don't you read HIS post? Notice his old system was running 50MHz faster? That can cause a huge rise in temps. Care to guess why he doesn't run 2750MHz in the Shuttle?Originally Posted by KeZZeR
He's got one of the fastest Shuttles possible. It's not too fast compared to what he could have in a mid-tower with better cooling and power, but the size is a factor to him. I have a SFF rig myself and they are useful indeed, but no substitute for a mid-tower, just as a laptop is no match for a desktop.
Only if you're overclocking though, stock v stock there's pretty much no difference.

maybe he had ****ter cooling on his tower? each system is different in 1 way or another
