    Hey question about HD compatibility

Hey does anyone know if the asus a8n-e nf4 supports sata II hard drives. Also is it ok to have an sata hard drive and an IDE hard drive on the same system. I was thinking about using the sata drive as master and the IDE drive just for storage. Will this however hurt performance?

It is OK to have SATA and IDE drives in a machine. I have that set up so that I boot off the IDE and use the SATA for games and storage of shared stuff.

Some SATA II Drives will work on SATA I but not all.
