Question P4 2.66 Northwood to an AMD Athlon 64 3500 (939) - how much better?

As the title says, I'm thinking of upgrading from P4 2.66 Northwood to an AMD Athlon 64 3500. How much faster is my new system going to be? I know it depends on other factors too, but am interested in what an P4 2.66 Northwood to an AMD Athlon 64 3500 comparison would generally be like. Huge, small?

God it's been ages since a major upgrade, im so rusty

Check out the comparison on Toms Hardware Guide... Should give u a pretty good idea

Personally, I feel its tons better than my current 2.8Ghz prescott 520... Much faster and easier on my memory...
