Thats the beasty, the local store was out of stock when I visited although the computer said they had 2 in rack something or other.

I used to work there, could say some stuff about the staff but have no physical proof.

No i tend to go to the super hudge lakeside one, just a pity they dont have any idea what loaction codes are where in the shop They aso have this strange way of putting stuff on the shelf, where its not grooped in any meaningful way, and the bit you want is kept locked away behind the components sales desk just in case somebody wants to nick this highly valuable 99p bit, even though all the bits that similar are on the shelf.

Yes, but i don't think it's the Zs. Just a vanilla Audigy 2.

Only real difference between the ZS and the vanilla is 7.1 speaker support - plain has only 6.1

Theres a few small driver changes, but essentially the card is the same.

Prices should go down further when the XiFi comes out
