Question Opening a JetBook 9450, Help!

I have a Jetbook 9450 bought from Jetta and they are shipping a new dvd burner and wireless lan card. Any idea's on how to get the notebook open to replace these? I tried to upgrade my old HP Pavilion and failed my times, ended up with alot of scratches and dents, and tossed it in the corner. Before I attempt to pry this one open anyone good any ideas? I can do a pc no problem, but notebooks are a differant story. Help please!! Thanks!!

Have a look at ftp://12.161.238.136/9450/9450User_Manual.pdf ; on the 9450 the DVD drive should just be removable by releasing the latch. As for the WLAN card, have you bought a replacement internal card for it, or a Cardbus card?

Not sure what they are sending it was what was suppose to be installed when they shipped the whole unit. I can't really take the time to send the whole thing back and wait weeks for it to show up on the front steps so I am going to do it myself, hopefully. What they have for the request is 802.11 B+G WIRELESS LAN install.

I'd guess that that would be an internal mini-PCI. I don't know the specific model, but the module is probably replaceable by removing either the keyboard or one of the panels on the bottom. Get their support peeps to walk you through the install.
