    Who likes to reboot....often ?

    I do.

I like rebooting. If I make a large change, or an install, or uninstall....

in fact if I so much as touch the keyboard.

    I reboot.

    Do you?

I still don't trust Windows to handle more than one change without a reboot. I've seen people cut corners and get their fingers burnt too many times.
I don't like rebooting, but often it's the right thing to do...

... unless you're one of those people who likes to do a Windows reinstall every three months (or weeks even.)

Reboot ? Nope - only IF I've installed new drivers OR windows has an update and requires it.

Very rarely I reboot due to "performance" issues and its running UD when not gaming

I only purposely reboot if after installing something, a reboot is requied for that thing to function properly. By that I mean I will alway try it first, because they often lie.

YES, YES THEY DO! That annoys me so much. "You must restart your computer"... /runs program... clearly I don't need to restart my computer!

It's like getting one up on the guy who scripted the installer.

I have heard a few people in the past say that the more you reboot, the more you reduce the the lifespan of your hardware. I think due to the effect of the chips and soldering expanding and contracting as they heat up/cool down. Think there is anything in this?

One reason I reboot, apart from Windows being rubish at maintaining resources over extended periods and poor software/driver installations, is simply because of the effect on my electricity bill and the environment while I am not using it/hugging tree's.
