    updating nforce drivers

just checking; updating nforce drivers is the same as nvidia forceware-types where you uninstall previous and reinstall the new lot, or can I just update over the top?
if I uninstall whats the best program to use to completely remove all last smidgens of old driver before the new one comes in?

I just re-install over the top as the driver should just update what it needs to. Seems to make the process a lot quicker as well.

I also do the same with the graphics card drivers even though you shouldn't, never had a problem though.
your computer is similar to a fridge in that if it cannot keep a beer cold then it sucks
