Humm thanks, that's the kind of thing I'm after.

    Or the 16x one; http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Produ...ase=SATA%20DVD

Two of those, and two NEC ND3540s will go together well . Can't really imagine ever using them all at once, but hey, being able to copy from two source drives to two burners at the same time is never a bad thing, apart from the weight I suppose.

    Current: Shuttle SX58J3, i7 950, Corsair 16GB, 2x 1.5TB, XFX 6850 1GB, 3x Samsung 23" 1920x1080, 5760x1080 = AWESOME!

    Laptop: Vaio Z (13.3")

    Hi Shmee,

Just out of interrest, would you be able to tell me if the Tagan 580W 2Force you got is the same as the 480W version? I havent been able to see any reviews regarding this and just wondered.

(obviously you might not know what the 480W got, but thought you probably do).

Also im planning to get a SLI system (well a future system, with gfx card a bit later). So would this PSU be enough you think?

To the best of my knowledge, the 480W 2Force and the 580W one are the same bar the wattage.

I'm probably not the one to answer whether it will actually be good enough, but they make it for SLi so I suspect it will be, but I doubt it will be what you want for 2 7800GTX and FX57 type computers.

DFI is an awesome board, but I'd recomend checking out the DFI Forums before purchasing, just to get a flavour for the problems people have had, and for all sorts of recomendations for your bits'n'bobs.

Don't go cheap on the PSU, and I wouldn't suggest Corsair RAM either. OCZ seem to be the best matched RAM for it.

    Corsair Air 540, Asus Prime X570-Pro, Win 10 Pro, AMD R9 3900X, Corsair HX 750, EVGA 1080 Ti, 2x Corsair 2TB MP600, 2x 2TB WD20EZRX, 4x8GB Corsair Dominator, custom watercooled (single loop, 2 rads)
    Corsair 550D, Asus X470-Prime Pro, Win 10 Pro, AMD R7 2700, Corsair RM750i, Asus GTX780 Poseidon, 2x Sammy 500GB 970 EVO, 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance, custom watercooled (single loop, 2 rads)
    Synology DS918+ w/ 2xWDC Green 3TB + 2x Seagate Barracuda 6TB, N2200 w/ 2xSammy 1.5TB
    backup:
    Corsair 500R, Gigabyte GA-Z97MX Gaming 5, Win 10 Pro, i5 4690, Corsair HX750i, Sapphire Fury X, 256GB Sammy SM951 M.2 (System), WD SE16 640GB, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance, Corsair H100i

I will have a look at that forum.

Also if you recommend OCZ memory, which one would you go for? Something that would go well with A64 3500+/3700+ and MSI SLI mobo.

If youre buying a DFI board then you want OCZ VX (Voltage eXtreme), cos it can handle the insane voltages that the board can throw at it.

... or if you're after 2gig, then try (gonna be replacing my Corsair with this some time soon):

2Gb OCZ EL DDR PC4000 OCZ Gold Edition Dual Channel kit (OCZ5002048ELGE-K)

which has been been prechecked already by the moderators at DFI Street with the NF4 boards.

    You can get it from:

    http://www.pc-memory-upgrade.co.uk/m...ram-pc4000.asp

Never shopped from this place before, though I got their website from the vendors list off the OCZ site.

Can't see why OCZ RAM wouldn't work with an MSI board.... BUT I don't intend to dis Corsair RAM here (got some myself!) It would probably work very well indeed with MSI boards etc, it's just that the DFI mobo doesn't particularly like it.
