    stupid Abit AN8 fan header question

    how many amps can they safely push out? anyone know, it doesn't seem to be documented in the manual :S

    I would guess ~500-700mA is the safe maximium for boards with PWM control.

    I would think boards without any fan control can do 1-2A as the +v should be connected directly to the 12v trace on the mobo.
