Which PSU?

Right, I'm thinking about getting a new PSU for my server, but I'm not too sure if it will definately need it or which one to get.

My current spec is:
Enermax Noistaker 480w
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2
Athlon XP3200+
1GB Corsair VSM
Bog standard 32mb PCI Graphics card
Sony Floppy
DVD ROM
1 80GB Maxtor DiamondMax 9 or 10 SATA in Coolermaster CoolDrive 6
1 300GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATA in Coolermaster CoolDrive 5
2 80GB Maxtor D740X IDE
2 300GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10 IDE
All in a nice Lian-Li PC1100 case

The 2 300GB IDE drives haven't been put in yet, but I will do as soon as I get the PSU issue sorted. The PSU I have in there has been running no problems, but I don't wanna kill it. I'm also thinking about putting watercooling in it soon as it makes a bit of a noise and generates a hell of a lot of heat. I would also like to, at some point, get a SATA controller and replace the 2 80GB IDE's with larger SATA drives so I want to account for this in my PSU choise, I don;t want to have to keep getting a new PSU everytime I put a new piece of hardware in.

I reckon an Enermax Noisetaker 600w should do the job with no problems at all, or would this be overkill? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

how many amps on the 12v rail of your current psu?

32a is more than enough, you should be fine wiht that psu

Even for all the future upgrades that I wanna stick in it? Or could I keep it for now and look into it again when I decide to put watercooling in and things?

and I'm very impressed with it. Pretty future proof too and colour coded cables which looks very smart. It has two 15A 12V rails AND a separate 8A 12V rail for the CPU giving a total of 38A on +12V. Pretty quiet too.. Worth considering IMHO

wait til you get watercooling and then get either an ocz powerstream 600w or a pcp&c 510w sli. either of those will cover for all your need with room to spare. in fact if you have the money you could upgrade to the pcp&c now (but it comes at a price). luckily psu's arent things that get outdated easily so it will do you for a long time to come.
