    Old Motherboard and ram

    My old Asus A7V8X will onlt take 1 * PC3200 DIMM or 2 * pc2700

my question would it take 2 * 3200 running at 2700 speeds?? anyone got this board and done this??

FSB on CPU is 333 so only need 2700 speeds but want to put in 2 GB ram.

Should auto clock down the speeds to hit your FSB. If not, try going in with one stick, setting the divisor, then put the other stick in.
