    silent as poss 120mm Fan

    Hi all,

I need 3 120mm Silent as poss fans. 1 Will be for the XP-120 cooler and the other 2 im going to use on my Gaming Bomb 2 case as the stock fans are so loud!

This should be an easy one for you guys....

    Cheers again

    Darren

    Nexus 120mm without a doubt.

    Avoid SilenX.

Seriously? The decibel ratings reckong that there are quieter silenX fans - I know the nexus one is good (shoved two in an antec 3700 and I can't tell it's on) , but surely less db = better for quietness?

Or is there something up with them?

I think that silenX are good if you have them mounted perfectly with rubber grommets, I have seen SilenXs produce a lot of vibration.

Take db ratings with pinch of salt, particularly if they're from SilenX.

How about a Pure Silence 120mm fan its 18dba so is quieter than nexus and shifts a more air. Take silenx dba rating with a pinch of salt, their 11dba 120mm fan is louder than a nexus fan which is 23dba

You have to ignore the dB ratings. The nexus are the best you'll find.

    £12 at KustomPCs

Take a quick glimse at SilentPCreview forums and you'll see that nexus is the silent pc choice
