Need a ouija board (or HDD priority damnit)

My motherboard is officially possessed.

I had plugged in a 2GB FLash drive when my computer was on, transferred the data I needed, then shut it down for the night.

Turned it back on and couldn't get into windows.

Immediate thought: WTF!!!

It had booted up as though the hard drive with windows on it wasn't there (kick booting from IDE to SATA)

So I checked my BIOS. Turned out the my K8V SE Deluxe had automaticly switched the HDD priority from

IDE, SATA 1, SATA 2

to

IDE, USB, SATA 1, SATA 2

COnfoozing windows in the process.

ANyway I can stop it from doing this?

Don't plug in the USB Flash disk when you start your computer.

Not really the most practical thing, my computer turns on and off through a button by my bed, comp is a few metres away and I'm lazy
