as you looking for an agp and 939 cpu, you might want to look at the msi neo2 NF3 mobo, great reviews, got everything you want and also o/cs as well which is a bonus.

Id personally reccomend a 9NDA3+, but thats just cos im a bit of an epox fanboy. ALthough if you want it from scan your choices are very limited, and id go with the gigabyte (ewww, i feel all dirty saying that) mainly because of the passive chipset cooler

You should be able to pick up a socket 754 combo cheap & I don't think that for use as an HTPC you will miss 939.

    MSI P55-GD80, i5 750
    abit A-S78H, Phenom 9750,

The P4's make better HCPC's as the intel chips handle compressed video better than the AMD stuff.

Ok i am confused :S Have you purchased the CPU yet?

Otherwise would you like a S754 or S939 based board for a current cpu?

    Thanks,

    Michael
