    Rant :(

    Bought a new sound card, SB Live 24, thinking it'd sound nicer with BF2.

    But it doesn't bloody support hardware sound in BF2 does it. All radio speech is crackled.

    Gutted!

    My old SB Live! isn't supported, but that worked with hardware ticked.. I dunno, and the real urine extraction?

    - we recommend using Creative soundcards with Battlefield 2

    THe live should work fine, my friend uses it on BF2.

    Old device isn't even in the machine, all previous drivers are gone.

    I know - bloomin aweful really, I wonder what it is that BF2 does with sound that 99% of the worlds soundcards (including those of Creative who they pimp!) can't!
