    Up to 512mb ddr devices? Does that mean it can't handle 1gb sticks??

    That would seem to be in conflict with:
    4 x 184-pin DIMM sockets 4GB in max
    But i dont really get what x8 and x16 mean, unless its the number of chips per stick?

    Isn't x8 and x16 the speed of the PCIe?

    That is DFI so will be the top end of prices plus the exclusivity factor. No one in their right mind is gonna spend that kind of cash (and not go SLI) unless they know something about R520 that we don't.

    I think it refers to the graphics cards - DDR memory sticks are usually refered to as 'modules' when I see it - and yep it would conflict with the 4gb max for 4 slots lol


    Man we live in such a ripoff country - with that exact price without shipping, it would currently cost the americans $283.49
