Has anyone seen any sign of the V3 hitting the shores of this mighty fine country? Or is it destined only for the US

hmm better start googling me thinks
Hah, I emailed 10 retailers last night, pretty much all of them replied this morning
Chillblast:
cocc:
1. Ours are version 3 :-)
2. I just opened one up to check and it is indeed a V2 as you feared
3. I just called Shuttle who say no V3s will be released into Europe until
existing V2 stock has been cleared. How nice of them
casetech.co.ukThank you for your enquiry, unfortunately the item in question is currently
out of stock but we should be getting a delivery of them this week. As for the version of the SN95G5 it is I believe the latest version "3".
cpucityWe are currently selling it V2 model.
ccl computers:Sorry but we don't not have that information as we now ship these units direct and are not kept on the premises.
eclipse-computersAll our shuttles are kept in a secure area, and cannot be taken apart as
this will render the machine secondhand. So unfortunately we cannot tell at present what version we sell.
I have checked on this for you and the ones we currently have in
stock are version 3. I hope this helps.
I've emailed eclipse back and asked them to double check, but I dont think we will be seeing the V3s for a few weeks at least Which is annoyed because i really want one!
I posted a thread in the scan section of this board, but no reply, and Komplett said that they only have V2 models.
Hope this helps buddy

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a V3. When the genuine V2's run out there will be the V2's in the V3 boxes to clear too :-)
We have the same problem in Ozzie land. I ordered a V3 that was advertised here to be sent to me [living in an isolated area] and asked 'open box and check serial number on mobo to make sure it;s a V3'. Sure enough they sent me a V2 in a V3 box !!
All I have to do now is put a Winchester or Newcastle Cpu in to replace the Winsor I bought for the V3, as using the Windsor is a reset Cmos to default every time to boot as well as USB problems.

Thanks guys, guess we'll have to wait a little longer to get the V3's
