Hi all,
IIRC its not possible to run > 2 monitors with SLi straight out of the box, but is there a registry hack or new drivers which will allow this?
How about Crossfire - anyone know if that'll allow all 4 heads on you're 2 lubbly X850s to run in sync?

It is possible to run 4, you need some special software to get it to work I think.
I know ultramon supports it (saw a kid at a LAN with 3 19" TFTs playing D3 across em :o)
You need to disable to SLi to get 4 monitors.

Crossfire can run 3 x Monitors in Crossfire mode (2 x DVI connections are taken up by the external connection between the cards).
Sli cannot be enabled to run more than one monitor - then you can run four :D
He used the 3 tFts as one for playing d3, so you had the left of the normal view on the laft monitor, middle/midle and right/right
matrox is prolly the only manufacture who still makes the desktop stretch accross all the displays you have connected..Quote:
