    9800XT temp

I just checked out my 256mb 9800XT temperature for the first time that i can think of. Ive been running the overdrive feature on it etc etc. What i was wondering is do they tend to run really hot because mine says its running at 84 degrees which is wayyyyyyy hotter than i was expecting.
Or does the ATi thing tend to lie?

I think that sounds about normal for a card but having said that my pro with arctic cooler runs about 60C when idle.

No idea if it lies or not. I had ATI tray tools which reported my load temp as being about 50C (20C less than ati tools)

temperature is pretty normal, here is does 64° idle and 72-74° stressed (depending on the game), btw: the temp you read with ATi Tray Tools will be the LM63 tempchip's own temperature instead of the chip itself, you can see both temperatures with ATiTool (www.techpowerup.com/atitool).

So which is correct? The one tray tools reports is the one ati tools reports as 'environment'?
