I really want to get water cooling cause its cool, in two ways.

Wats best, go for a kit, or get the parts seperately?

I want knida mid range performance. Quite quiet but some good cooling for some moderate OC.

I have a Silverstone TJ05 case, which is quite big and i only have one HDD (mabe 2 at some point). Will i need to cut any holes in it?

Wat should i cool and will i need any fans for the case (obviously for cooling the water?

I dont think i can cood the north bridge cause the GPU goes right across it (could take a pic if needed)

kit gives you better performance forless money. you could cool your processor and graphics card if you wish in your case. you would need case fans to get rid of heat from harddrives and souch. you will also need 1 to 6 fans for the radiator of your choice for your water cooling.

EDIT : if you get a small radiator you will not have to cut any additional holes in your case.

Everything comes with the kit dude. Asetek are a good brand. I have one and can vouch for them.

About 150-200 quid i would think. they have alot of ktis. depends what you want really.

I would say get a kit. Innovatek (www.innovatek.de) make some good stuff, and they even do some pre-modded silverstone cases if you wanted to have a look at those for ideas.

Them kits arent as easy to find in the UK. But i do agree there kits are great. I loved there glass resovoir. would look awsome in a windowed case with lights.

I've just ordered mine straight off their webshop, you can pay by Paypal or bank transfer. Was a bit tricky to understand the language but Google Translate is great. Either that or you can try www.pc-water-cooling.com they sell most things innovatek but at one hell of a mark up.

Kits are quick and easy. You can jump into watercooling with little fuss and effort with a kit.

Separates can give a much better system though as you have more options for tuning it to your particular needs and system. Separates will generally cost more than a kit.

What you actually want depends very much on how much you rate looks, performance, cost, reliability, noise... Generally you're going to have to tradeoff in at least one area if not more.

Well, the look is not too high but obviously i dont want it to look stupidly ugly.

And i want a mid range cooling vs performance system.

Personally i think its much more fun to make your own. I dont think it costs more especially if you bargain hunt.

Depends what you're after and what you can find. My radiator cost a fiver and works better than most commercial rads. It's just a second hand heater matrix from a car that hasn't been made in 25 years.

I couldnt quite be bothered to go that far. I went for a brand new but slightly dented dual 120mm xspc radiator for £18 which i was still happy with.

I got a hydor l30 off ebay for just under £20 and an RBX for £22. I got a couple of fans for ~£3.50 each and out them at 5v. My dad got me all the tubing i wanted for free and we built a reservoir from drainpipe.

Came to about £70 and isnt bad in terms of noise and performance.
