Is the above mobo any good? We just bought it to run in our windows 2000 server. It'll be running a X2 4200 Dual core cpu.
Any news on this would be great to hear.
cheers

Everything I have read says this model is good.....to be honest, though, I am not sure that any of the current crop of 'top tier' brands are bad......
Main: i5 2500K, AsRock Extreme4 Z68, 8GB Vengeance, Enermax Infiniti, 5850 1GB
Toys: Cowon J3 32GB, DIR-655, PS3 Slim, HTC Desire, HDC-SD1, Slingbox, Synology DS109j, Asus Transformer + dock
MSI has had some problems recently. I will not use them in my computers until they get them resolved. They've had problems with components and BIOS mostly.
Return it if you can and get the Asus A8N-E. It's the best right now. With the right BIOS it will even run SLI.
Edit: Actually I prefer Opterons for servers with ECC REG memory.

MSI are a good brand: they make motherboards found in IBM servers but if you're running a server you really should go for something that'll run an Opteron or Xeon, preferably something with a Serverworks chipset. Servers have different usage demands to PCs or workstations and sometimes having a top tier enthusiast's board can be a step backwards. The board itself is first class, but for a server I'd be a little more conservative and get a safe boring Tyan or Supermicro
