About LinkBacksI have a couple of 80mm papst fans with red and blue wires on them and no connectors.I need to know which way these wires are to be connected into my molex so i can use them please.

Red wire into the yellow on the molex
Blue into the black
I think anyway, it should be.
Worst that will happen is it will spin backwards

why will it burn????
most pc fans wont do it, cant remember why, they might not burn, could be a simple diode stoping it, but iirc runnign backwards kills fans, and most dead things burn at some point.... one of my fans has burnt backwards before....
So are you saying that it will definately spin backwards or not?
Like i said it has 2 wires on it, which way round would you connect them?
Im 99% sure it wont burn - fans like this shouldnt have diodes on them.
Im going to try it on one of mine when i get back home in a few hours.
