    Hi Grissom

What's the budget and do you need a monitor?

I'd not go for the X2 4200, get a X2 3800 and overclock it a bit to get the same or more power.

Graphics card: If you can fork out a bit more £350 or so, get a 7800GTX or get a 7800GT then save some money up and SLi them later.

RAM: Get a twinned (2x512) set from a good manufacturer, this depends on your budget obviously.

Motherboard: COmes down to your personal choice and overclocking. Asus' aren't the best for overclocking, but they can be overclocked, to overclock I'd reccomend a bit more for a DFI SLI

    !!

    In that case

CPU - Listed is fine - I can't imagine any stability issues with it!
RAM - Crucial or Corsair - 2x512MB (as above)
MoBo - The A8N-SLI Premium would be a better choice board for an extra £20ish (since this isn't trying to be a cheap system)
Graphics card = 6800 Ultra, X800XL - There's a couple of suggestions for you at around £220 which is less than £300
