Looking at this picture you need the 4-pin connector (above to the left of the cpu socket) and according to the manual you need a 24-pin connector as well.
As for the power supply, can't say i have heard of it, but i like the Super Cooling Function Technology (SCFT) feature. It allows max. of four system fans to run after the computer has been turned off. Maybe some other members that have brought one of these PSU's can comment on what they are like.
Are you upgrading your whole system or just the motherboard?
I managed to get meself a cheap PCIE Graphics card from a friend for doing some work (saved me £100 off the list price ) but I can't afford the FULL CPU/MOBO/PSU/HSF upgrade to go with it.
So I'm keeping my s754 3000+, but upgrading my mobo from Asus K8V SE Deluxe to either the Gigabyte one or the Asus one in the first post.
Also getting Evo120 and a new PSU.
Overclockers sell the same PSU as the one linked for £65.

Here is a review of the Asus K8N4-E Deluxe at PC-stats.com and a review of Gigabyte GA-K8NE at itreview.co.uk. There aren't too many s754 boards that support PCIe, so your choices are pretty limited. The reviews might help you make a decision of which board to get.
I think its the Gigabyte for me.

Tell us how you get on with it, when you do get it. What is the graphics card that you'll be pairing this board with?
If you are not upgrading now, i.e. you can wait a week or two, you might want to consider this Zalman CNPS9500 cpu cooler. Here's a review of it. It should be out in a week or two according to Gibbo at Overclockers UK (OcUK) priced in the region of £30-40. Read the review and you will see that it performs very well
Pairing it with a 7800GT.
The people that let me play on the PS3 used my input to change one of their games a bit and I also helped with some bugs in their code that they hadn't spotted
I'm not sure about Zalmans at the moment, my flower cooler on my A7N8X Deluxe broke the retention socket, but the system still works, i can't remove the 2600+
