you may remember a few problems i had with my first attempt at building a pc (in which i had questions about heatsinks, unidentified sockets on the mobo & also a problem where i had nothing on screen on startup) i got a friend to check the cpu (it was ok) and bought a new GFX card (which turned out to be the problem). The pc works a treat.

You guys are obviously the people to ask in a case of emercency!

Again, thanks to all the guys above & also anyone else who may have helped.

I'm off to play with my new pc now, cya

No probs. Just waiting for the "How do I overclock" thread, soon followed by the "My PC smells funny and doesn't work" thread.
Followed by the "New Build" "New Build doesn't work" and then back to the beggining again. Endless cycle, I tell ya.
