Deoxidize Copper cooler?

I just pulled the CNPS7000A-Cu out of my old rig, and not only it was dusty, the copper oxidized pretty badly. Since there're like around 120 fins, I can't use "conventional" methods to clean it. Those copper oxide is pushing my temp up by quite a bit.

soak it in cola over night....

Vinegar will also do the trick, but any carbonated drink willalso do.

I was gonnasay the same thing. Id be very surprised if it was affecting your temps though. Have you reinstalled it since the dust came off?

Dust would be a prob. Oxidataion no, as herulach said.

Should be ok when dust free.

Try using coke for fun anyway, do a before and after picture for the forums.
