    AMD Socket 939 Mobo Suggestion

    Hi

I am looking for a silent motherboard that can handle the 3800 x2 CPU.

i have been looking around but a lot of mobos has a fan on the NB, i prefer a silent pc. I don't think i will overclock so i just want a stable yet quiet machine.

The A8N SLI Premium is an excellent board for a stable system, overlclocks quite well too. Although if your after a serious OC then DFI boards are the way to go.

I use the A8N Deluxe which is an excellent board for what I need (cheapish too) although you will need to replace the heatsink fan as its a whiny bugger.

I would like a suggestion for an agp, sata (sata3.0?) mobo to use with this cpu - plus what memory - value rather than outright o/c ability are my other parameters. Thanks

This may suit you but check on the X2 compat ( all 939 should be capable as long as supporting BIOS released).
    About £50 at Microdirect.
