New shuttle!!!
Hi there peeps! Forgive any drivel but ive just come home from an all day bender!
Anyway.... I have some money left from a loan I got from my car and managed to swing 3 years no claims because of my company car driving :) so I have some money left for a shuttle. I have already built my friend a SN41G2 and would like something similar. He is having a few problems at the moment with games (because he didnt take my advice and didnt get quality memory and is using onboard graphics) so what im looking for is people with specific sugestions on hardware for this shuttle Ie memory makes and specific graphics cards that are running nice and smooth with no problems. This is gonna be a pure games machine and will not be overclocked too much.
Any input on current stable systems is greatly appreciated.
Ty for your time
Chris

If i were you i'd get a Shuttle SN45G, and put a Radeon graphics card in it, anything from a Radeon9600 to a Radeon 9800 would be GREAT!
As far as quality memory goes, Crucial are great and very cheap.

PE is nicer but you dont have the raid southbridge that's on the G.. if you're gonna use SATA raid that is. Or there's the SB75 which is canterwood and has PAT.
