    Question asus a8n chipfan

i want to replace that horrible asus chip fan that comes on the board as it is too noisy and spins at almost 9000rpm, so im guessing it wont last long anyway.

i want a replacement for it, what do people suggest?

i would prefer a silent heatsink or just a very very quiet fan.

    thanks

    (model a8n sli deluxe)

Zalman nb-47j. You have to remove the mobo to fit it though. Got one on mine, does what it says on the tin.

It took me ages to open my whole case out and change it over, I advise to only do it if you can actually hear the chipset fan, otherwise it's a timely exercise for not much.

Well i'm keeping the same OC of 3000+ @ 3500+; and nothing bads happened yet (about three months since i put it in). Not sure of the exact temp, dont have any software to check ATM.

It makes a HUGE difference noise wise though.
