    Post Help me decide

Sorry this is another ive got x amount of pounds to spend what do u reccomend I do with it question. Budget is between 500-650 if possible tho i can go over this.

Ive got a monitor that will do for now and im keeping ma Sonata case, DVD RWer, and my hard drives. Im not into overclocking so im trying to get the best performace i can so i can play todays games and (maybe a few future ones) at decent levels. Probably use scan or micro direct for my stuff or maybe a combination.

This is what i was thinking

Abit AN8 Ultra, nForce4 Ultra, Skt 939 I like the idea of it being passivley cooled seems to have some decent features
500w Seasonic s12 Heard very good stuff about seasonic and would like the pc to be as quite as poss as its in the living room
Crucial Ballistix 184-pin DIMM DDR PC3200 I know i should use 1gb but it will do for now
    AMD 3500+
Now here comes the problem. I was going to get a Leadtek 660gt wich seem to be one of the best cards of the type, but now ATI have released the x800gt wich seems really good for the price and is probably (tho not sure) better than the Ledtek or do i throw some more money at it and go for an x800xl for about £200 or push it further and get a 6800. (can only find XFX ones at the mo and im not very keen on then after they messed up with the 5 series) The system with the leadtek comes in at about £480. Im a bit worried about heat as well with the motherboard ive chosen and if the PSU will fit in my case. Any suggestions gratefully recieved. cheers

get the PC4000 ram from crucial as it doesn't cost any more. Also spend the extra and get the X800 series or 6800 series graphics cards to allow you to play newer games that come out in the future. Hope this helps a little.
your computer is similar to a fridge in that if it cannot keep a beer cold then it sucks

If you are using a 19" or below LCD monitor (or 18" or below CRT monitor), get the X800 or 6800 series will not help you. Very few games require anything more than a 6600GT for 1280x1024

If you're happy to so a little overclocking just get a 3000+ and clock it up to a 3500+ and that will save you £50. You could most probably get a 3000+ up to 2500mhz without much trouble.

An x800xl is pretty good value these days so thats not a bad graphics card to go for.
