    confused with laptop graphics chipsets

ok, im looking to buy a laptop, but the graphics chipsets are kinda confusing, could anyone link me to a general comparison between desktop and laptop chipsets?

also, could anyone reccomend a graphics chipset that could play games like planetside with everything on max? (at acceptable frame rates of course, no good having everything on max and then getting less than 1fps!)

My 6600 Go performs quite well, im happy with it Although I havent played planetside I know its hardly an ugly game, I think your looking for a 6800 Go if you wanted to max everything.

As far as I know the new 7x00 Go's are right around the corner, if you want something with some kick ass performance I'd wait for those..

this will be my first time buying a laptop with a processor speed higher than 10mhz so i dont really know what to expect, in other words, im new to this portable computing lark
