    Iiyama E483S

Opinions please on the Iiyama E483S TFT.

Secondly, is this a bargain price for it at PC World at £199?

Ud have to ask why they are selling it so cheapley according to them it means u save £100 From a quick look round it looks like you save about £30 on other retailers. It certainly looks a good deal. Refresh and everything else looks fine to me

I did have a quick look around and thought it was around £70 off?

PCW price does seem to be around £30 or so cheaper than anywhere else I could find, specs look good enough:-

    http://www.iiyama.co.uk/default.asp?...=236&PROD=5705

    Panel TN Wide Angle
    Diagonal 19" (48 cm)
    Response time 12 msec
    Contrast ratio 500 : 1 typical
Brightness 250 cd / m² typical
    Viewing zone horizontal/vertical: 140°/130°;
    right/left: 70°/70°, up/down: 65°/65°
    Native resolution 1.3 MegaPixel (1280 x 1024)
    Speaker 2 x 1 W (Stereo)

If your looking for a reasonably priced 19" screen then there doesn't seem to be anything wrong in going for that one.

You could also take a look at this Samsung no dvi though

Thanks for the link to the Samsung. It's a nice monitor and have put it on my shortlist.

Main reason I didn't pickup the Iiyama is becuase it doesn't fit in the monitor hutch in the corner desk I have.

Any other 19" TFT recommendations? Max budget is £205.

    Thanks.

Here's a few more to consider, I've no idea of their dimensions so you may want to check them to ensure the screen will fit where you need it to:-

    AG Neovo F419

    LG 1915S

    Acer AL1914ms

    Philips 190S5FS

Hope that helps, bear in mind I have not factored in the delivery cost into your max budget also have a look at some of the other screens on those sites. I don't know if you need DVI or not as they may be a factor in your final choice too.

    Happy hunting.
