Asus Pundit-R - no floppy, so how to load SATA drivers?

The titles days it all really. I've got one coming to me soon (hopefully - Mort ) but was wondering how to install SATA drivers when installing windows if there's no floppy drive?

I've never installed an SATA drive before - am I missing something?

I think you can do it off a memory key, or you can ofcourse use nlite to put them straight onto an install disk.

How will the SATA drivers come with the system? On an SD card or something?

I think if you have a copy of Windows XP with SP2 then it has them bundled all in one.

I do, well, I have a slipstreamed one anyway.

It doesnt. You can slipstream them yourself, but XP still doesnt include them.

IT will probably come on a cd, as i say, best bet is to copy it to a memory key.

Seems the Vista install is much better at SATA

the pundit has a card reader...could I put them on an SD card?

Here's an update:

There were no SATA drivers with the system.

I installed Win XP Pro SP2 from CD and it detected it without a hitch.

Sorry yeah, should have mentioned that, you only need drivers if youre using raid.

it wouldn't load with my slipstreamed XP Pro SP2 CD, had to use my original SP1 and update it
