Smile looking to buy a barebones small form factor pc but have concerns

hi im am intrested in buying a barebones small form factor pc but i am worried that my graphics card will not fit in properly it is a leadtek winfast a400gt (geforce6800gt),

in my current motherboard it takes up 2 spaces due to the large heatsink on it making a pci slot useless, i was just wondering whether there is a fair bit of space between the agp slot and the pci slot in most small form factor pcs as i require a pci slot for my sound card

    thx :-)

Depends on which barebones it is, but probably not. Normally they only take single slot cards. Even the ones that can handle larger ones wouldn't have space for the graphics card and a pci sound card.

damn well i suppose i could stick a diffrnt heatsink on it as the card is quite strange ,it only has one bracket at the back whereas most cards with large heatsinks have a 2 slot bracket so i could put a new type of heatsink on it maybe any1 know of any good replacement gfx card heatsinks that will take up one slot pls link me

Biostars usually take 2 slot gfx cards but you would need to check about the PCI card as well.

Or you could look into getting somthing like an antec aria that way you can choose your mobo and upgrade later if you wish. I have an X850XT in mine with an artic cooler. and it all fits fine

It depends how much you need the soundcard, onboard sound is pretty good for most chipsets these days.
