Just made up this "thing" for a few hours.
Should be a pretty easy guess

FX5200?
I built one inside a motherboard box once, external PSU but everything else was inside.
It was a 500Mhz AMD K6 which I overclocked to 650Mhz. It smelt like an arson attack on Maplins. (And died after about 30 seconds)

Thats a damn nice case
I ran that for 2 hours full load and the temperature is well below 50'C.
Since the "case" is completely sealed with only the 3 fans, its physically a wind tunnel.
The left fan push air down to cool the sandwitch and get away from under the DVDROM. The right fan push air down to cool the ram modules. Due to higher internal air pressure, the air is forced to move from around the ram slots straight to the "flower", then being push+pull into the PSU and straight out.
The system is amazingly slient though. And the cardbox absorb almost all the vibration. And the parts inside is save even if I drop it
I used cable ties in place of screws in most place (the whole motherboard was cable-tied). The "case" is also much lighter than normal steel/aluminium cases
Only need about 100 cable ties, a box, a cutter, a few screws and of course the hardware

some people watch too much art attack......
is it safe thou
couldnt it get to hot and then it could set the cardbord a light
Doubt its anywhere near dangerous. At least the CPU is 34'C idleOriginally Posted by lodore
I personally never have any computer got on fire ever in my life, and I don't use really crap PSUs.
Think it would be as safe as in a metal case

Get more interferance and more likely for static to short stuff in a non-metallic case though.
u got any mods planned for it? water cooling?
