HTPC help.

I’m looking at building a HTPC out of spare parts and need a little help.

Parts I have are:

Duron 1600
250gig Maxtor HDD
512Mb RAM
Pcchips Km266

Now I need two things a case and TV-card, case wise I was looking at the Hiper Micro ATX Slimline Media Center Case in Black. All I need is a TV-Card that will allow me to record digital TV striate from the digibox.

Any idea’s on what sort of thing I will need? Keeping price down as much as possible would be good as well.

I've been doing a bit of research into this recently, as I'm also planning on building myself a HTPC.

If you're going to record from the digibox, you'll need an analogue card.

I will also be recording from a sky box so I ordered the Hauppauge PVR 150. I don't think its a bad bad price tbh, and I'm sure it will do the job nicely.

I'm not sure if you'll need the low profile version or not with the Hiper case. Or does it make use of a riser card to allow full height cards?

Thanks for the advise, looks like the kind of card that would suite my needs, Oh and yes the case does make use of a riser card.
