at the moment I'm currently experiencing two issues trying to install Windows 2000 on my RS480M2, first off is that HDD performance seem rather low, I know that the installer takes a long time to format but this seems ridiculous to format a 36GB section of a 200GB Dimond Max9 (SATA) it looks to be taking 40min, this can't be usual, can it? Anyone have an idea how long this should take? I've gone through the BIOS several times, the BIOS reports the drive is in UDMA mode 6, I would use the RAID drivers but when I put it into RAID mode and use the driver disk the install just hangs as it loads the kernel. The other issue is that the USB keyboard seems to just randomly disappear from the system, a PS2 keyboard seems to work fine though. These are exactly the same symptoms I've had with a previous board, it's driving me nuts.
