    Question Is This Possible

    Hi,

I need a new case/motherboard for my PC and thought I'd try sticking everything in a shuttle. But will this be possible for me? I'm worried about power/heating. I have an Athlon XP 2ghz so I would be sticking it in a SK43G. The rest of the setup would include M-Audio Delta 44 sound card, Fx5200, and 2 400gb SATA drives? Oh yeah, and a DVD drive and some RAM, obviously.

    Thanks,

    -Sam

Seems alright to me. Shuttle PSU's are of a higher quality than standard PSU's and will most likely run that setup fine. The only problem I can see is that the 400GB Hard Drives might generate a lot of heat. Also you will not be able to utilise an internal floppy drive if your going to be using both Hard Drives.

Another alternative you may want to look at would be the SN45GV3 as it is based on the nForce 2 Ultra Chipset.

You wont be able to use the floppy drive if u use 2 hard discs.

I would go for the sn45 as well as its a better chipset. Though its quite picky with ram so you may need to look at your current ram situation
