    Compact Keyboard

Can anyone recommend a compact (ie. width less than 17" (18" at a push)) fully featured (preferably wireless) keyboard with full stroke keys. All the microsoft and logitech offerings appear to be huge with stupid scroll wheels and finger print readers bolted on the side. I just want a good standard keyboard for a slightly narrower than standard desk.

I've also been looking for a compact wireless keyboard with a built in pointing device & can't find one anywhere! I bought a miniature USB keybpard on ebuyer (kingcase/ebuyer brand) which is just a basic small keyboard. However at this very moment, Maplin are selling a much better keyboard, which does have media keys. My dad bought one whilst they were £30, but they're £10 in the sale if your fast. Its wired, but I don't know if you'll get any better as you do want miniature/small.

i thought the blue illuminated ones would have been about the right size. some have media keys. the downside would be wired and wouldn't have a seperate numeric section.
your computer is similar to a fridge in that if it cannot keep a beer cold then it sucks

I remember seeing one with a laptop style touchpad being advertised in micromart - i'll see if I can find out where...

Here's a couple of compact keyboard from Scan. Both are wired though, but have all the esential keys. The Cherry keyboard is 11" wide and the Keysonic is 9"

High quality & Expensive: Cherry Compact Keyboard

    Lower quality: Keysonic Ultra-Compact Keyboard

Hope this is kinda what you're looking for, i've used one of these before round my m8s and they do take a little getting used to the 'smallness' of them, but you can't get much smaller.

Thanks for the recommendations, but I'm not looking for a laptop style keyboard, just one of the narrower bog standard models. I want all the keys (with full movement keys), and I'm guessing that aligning the insert to page down keys vertically is all that is needed to bring the width in at under 18 inches.
