Bite the bullet and get something with PCI-E if you're going to get a S939 board you may as well enjoy a small measure of future-proofing while you're at it. Hell, go SLi too so at least you can add a little more redundancy to your system Of course, this pretty much washes out the chances of 4-5 PCI slots free and in my case, I'm down to just one now
ABIT AV8 3rd Eye? MSI Neo2 Plat? Asrock TGi?
Me want Ultrabook
I think you will regret having an AGP S939 board in the future, as the PCI-E graphics cards are the future (as much as I hate to admit it). The only benifit to having an AGP board is if you've only recently bought a high end AGP graphics card such as an X850. Otherwise as OmarSantiago said, bite the bullet, unless that is really not an option.
Hope this helps

what about the ASRock ULi M1695 board - £50 pounds get's you both AGP and PCI-e at a decent speed. There's a good review bouncing around on another website. can't remember the URL at this time. Microdirect has it available. can't find it on scan etc. at the moment..
DFI LanParty UT NF3 Ultra, Epox EP-9NDA3J, depends where you are buying from. Plenty of time to get a PCI express board in the future when you need a new graphics card.
I personally have not had the best of experiences with ASRock boards, but they werent my machines, so I can't comment on what they have been subjected to. Best going with well known names such as Abit, Asus, DFI, Gigabyte or MSI. You can pay a slight premium for them, but in the long run I have found it to be worth it. Thats based upon my personal experiences, so others feel free to disagree.

Here is the review of the Asrock board http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2524
Very cheap from Microdirect, might be worth a go.
heard nothing but good things about ASROCK's latest offering.

Just because savestore gave you bad service doesn't mean you should rule out Asus again! I've always found them to be excellent products...
If you're an NVidia fan, best go for PCI-E. From what I've read, from the 7800 onwards, they aren't supporting AGP.

I have just got my hands on a Asus A8N-SLI Platinium. One of the better future proofing boards. 939 (takes all three flavours of althon 64 chips), nforce 4 and sli. A worthy buy! I have seen it on offer this week for £104 inc VAT but I cant remember where .... :-(
CPU: Athlon II x4 630 @ 2.8GHZ MOBO: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO (AM3) RAM:
Crucial 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 401MHz (6-6-6-15) Storage: 120GB KINGSTON
SSD 500GB Seagate Barracuda GPU: MSI 1GB Radeon HD 5750 PSU: eVGA NEX750B
Case: Akasa Eclipse-62 !
I would recommend the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. Very good reviews, good feature set, about £60+vat (£64+vat with wifi module). Had no problems with it. I bought one to upgrade my machine as I already had 6800GT AGP, and did not see the point of spending £200 on new graphics card with the same performance.
