Arctic cooling Silentium T1 any good?

    Hey guys

Seen on of these cases and it looks pretty darn impressive, however the 350W PSU be enough to power:

    3500+ Winny
    6800GT
    2 Optical Drives
    120GB HDD

I hear it is a continuous supply of power and that its quite a good PSU, however im not too sure about it running that no problems. AC claim it runs a 6800 Ultra and a 3.8GHz P4 stably.. anyone got an advice to offer?

    Cheers

    Chris

Have you tried a search in silentpcreview.com forums? I remember reading some comments there.

Yeah most places seem to think its a very good case, but doubt that Arctics claims of it running a 6800 Ultra and a P4 3.8GHz ok are true... So considering im gonna be getting a 3500+ and ocing it I think ill stick with my current setup and give it to my GF (unless anyone has any practical experience of it

I've just got a T1 (from Scan) and I like it. It is cooler than my previous case (as I have been using SpeedFan to monitor the heat).

Also quieter, but for me I've got a noisy 4cm fan, which I need to replace, and once done it will be very quiet.

Fitting it you have to be careful, and also download the manual from Arctic-Cooling.com, as it is just OEM - this will help in making sure you don't break the HDD muffler.

I don't have much in it - just an old Athlon XP 1600+.

I did discover it doesn't have a speaker built in, for the POST results, not a major problem, as I'm thinking of transfering the old one - or perhaps just ignore it, as I do have digit POST results.

    Matt
