Building a new PC

Hello all, new to the forums and stuff, And yea i AM a from the usa.
But anyways i am advancing into the computer career VERY fast.
for the past couple of years i been looking at/researching varias computer companies and been building my own computers. But heres a couple of stats for the best computer i got right now

-Have 5.1 Surround speakers (logitech)
-Have a 3.2 Ghz p4 (HT)
-Have 1 gig
-160 GB /7200 RPM hard drive
-just recently upgraded the power supply to 500 watts due to my video card
-Just got a Nvidia 6800 GT 256 MB (8x AGP) (Very nice gaming on games such as EQ2. doom3. battlefileld2, and Wow)
-DVD+RW/CD-RW (8x DVD writer and Cd writher combo) and i also have a DVD-ROM drive (16x max speed)
-9 in 1 media readers
-i also have a Fan cooling my hard drive and a fan cooling my video card
-Windows XP HOME
-19" LCD monitor


So everything costed me about 1900$$ (USA money) anyways to my point

i am awnting to advance in my career with computers and i would like anyone that reads this to give me some sites that will help me learn more, or any books i can order to read and stuff
